Captain Uncle Mike Modica
Uncle Mike served as a Captain the first time in the US Army. He is a graduate of the U.S. Military Academy at West Point, NY. He served in a tank unit after graduating from Airborne and Ranger Schools. Upon his discharge from the US Army, Uncle Mike earned his MBA at Harvard Business School.
Uncle Mike spent most of his business career as a financial executive in small companies and as an investor in venture capital and private equity funds. Never really liking business other than as a means to an end, Mike retired to devote his time to his children…. and fishing.

Chris is responsible for igniting our shared passion for fishing. It all started when Chris (but seven years old at the time) asked, “Dad, would you take me fishing?”
Chris has developed into a passionate, knowledgeable angler…a real “sharpie”. He knows our fishing grounds as well as anyone… at 22 years of age! At age 17, Chris earned the same US Coast Guard Captain’s certification as his dad (aka a “six pack” license).
